3 years old - 6th grade.

AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and comes from the Bible verse 2 Timothy 2:15 “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

The AWANA program is a Bible-centered club that teaches the gospel of Christ to children from age three through high school. The emphasis of AWANA is Bible memorization. Throughout the program, children are rewarded for memorizing Bible verses and completing character building activities. AWANA combines scripture learning with fun and games, and makes for a fun time for all kids!

Below is a brief description of the club for each age group that is offered at Emmanuel:

Cubbies - Three and four-year-olds

Sparks - Kindergarten through 2nd grade

T&T (Truth and Training) - 3rd through 6th grade

AWANA helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ.

Our goal is to reach boys and girls and their families with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.

AWANA meets on Sunday afternoons from 4:45 - 6:45 pm.
