Psalm 4:7 reads, “You have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound.” Psalm 4 acknowledges the LORD as the source of both safety and joy, encouraging the hearers and singers to put their trust in the LORD.
To sing this psalm we used lyrics from Sing Psalms (©2004 Free Church of Scotland) with the melody of “O for a Thousand Tongues to Sing” by Carl Gazer (1828).
