We celebrate the Ascension of our Lord as a turning point in history—it marks the end of Jesus’ life on earth and the beginning of The Church. God’s mission moves from the person of Jesus to the work of the Holy Spirit through the body of believers. How is that mission being worked out in our lives today? Come ponder that question during our Ascension Day event on Thursday, May 9. We’ll share a meal at 6 p.m. and afterward join together for worship in the gym and group discussion.
