Join the Kingstowne Communion in packing 15-20K nutrient-rich, easily-digestable meals at 40 cents a meal. Collaborate with hundreds of others to measure, pack, weigh, seal, and load 15-20K meals assembled of rice, beans, and nutritional supplement in an effort to combat worldwide hunger through Rise Against Hunger's community meal-packaging initiative. This event great for all ages; there is something for everyone to do. This event will cost between $6,000-$8,000 to host (40 cents per meal). The Kingstowne Communion has donated $2,500 of our 2023 budget; we raised $1,500 through Easter flower sales, and the rest will be raised through registration and additional donations. Registration is required for this event at $10 per adult, $5 per child, with a $30 family rate for larger families, all of which goes straight toward the cost of packing these nutrient-rich meals for people who need them most. Children 0-24 months are free, and nursery care will be available for those too young to participate.
