“What’s the use…”

Is 2022 going to be nothing more than a repeat of 2021 which was nothing more than a repeat of 2020? The pandemic is not the only crisis we hoped would be better this year. Annual inflation rate in the US accelerated to 6.8% in November of 2021, the highest since June of 1982. The US nationally saw its highest-ever increase in homicides in 2020, but a dozen cities have now set new records this year.

Is this the "new normal"? As we end 2021 and look to 2022, will anything change?
