Prayer and Fasting

April 5, 2023
6:00am - 6:00pm

The next two Wednesdays will be our congregational days of prayer and fasting, we are asking members and friends to spend the day praying for the congregation, and for our vision for the future. Below are some guidelines to help you pray throughout the day: Give Thanks Psalm 100:4-5 NIV 4  Enter his gates with thanksgiving     and his courts with praise;     give thanks to him and praise his name. 5  For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness  continues through all generations. Fast for a day Judges 20:26 NIV The Israelites needed direction from God so they fasted 26  Then all the Israelites, the whole army, went up to Bethel, and there they sat weeping before the LORD. They fasted that day until evening and presented burnt offerings and fellowship offerings to the LORD. Communicate for God for a vision Proverbs 29:18 KJV 18  Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. The “vision” in this verse refers to a divine communication with God, without Him we are “loose”; that is, we go our own way We ask that you pray for guidance and direction concerning these specific projects.
