October 12, 2019
7:00am

Our featured speaker on Saturday morning is seven feet tall, wears size 21 shoes, and assures us that the weather “up there” is not significantly different than what we experience “down here.” Dan Kreft attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois on an athletic scholarship where he earned a degree in electrical engineering. During his senior year, Dan garnered national attention by being the very first NCAA student-athlete to create and maintain a blog chronicling his time in the BigTen. His story was featured in several prominent newspapers, the ESPN radio network, and he was ultimately invited to write for Sports Illustrated. After graduating, Dan spent three years pursuing a career playing basketball, which took him to 9 different countries on 3 different continents, 40 of the 50 states, and five NBA rookie camps. Since 2003, Dan has been teaching theology and apologetics to students ranging from 6th grade to their 6th decade of life and has published his lessons in a three-volume book entitled “Jesus” Is Not the Answer to Every Sunday School Question. He will be giving a talk titled "Winning at Fatherhood" and we encourage men of all ages to come out out for this.
