Dear Amazing Family, It is with great honor that I ink this personal note to you as we prepare to celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit as well as the faith and love that we as believers have for Jesus and His Church. Beginning this Monday, May 16th through Sunday, June 5th, Pentecost 2022 we will enter a time fasting. This is out of our normal rythym and I can tell you, I spoke with God concerning His timing. I was like Lord, this is graduation season, vacation season, hot season, this is not fasting season. But how many know that I know when I hear God, and I am not going to disobey what I heard. So, here we are, in an unprecedented time, doing something that is unprecedented. A 21Day Fast, and not just any fast, a fast of unprecedented expectation. On the day of Pentecost, after the Ascension of Christ, the promise of Holy Spirit came and the church was birthed and grew from 120 people in the upper room to over 3120+ in one day! What? Can you say unprecedented! As you know, at Amazing, everything is supported by Scripture. Acts 2:1 states, “and when the day of Pentecost was fully come they were all with one accord in one place.” Amazing, let’s come together for these last three weeks of this 7-week journey in one accord. This word “accord” here in the Greek simply means to be together. This is a call to gather in expectation that God will, as a result of our fasting, praying and believing for the promise, grow our church unprecedently in one day. Let me break these down for you, because I know some of you are like me, you need the bullet points. So, here they are I am asking you to commit to: FAST – 21Day Fast of Expectation – May 16th through June 5th (no meats, no sweets) PRAY – Join in and share the #EDU 8am Dynamic Devotion and Prayer (download the Amazing App and turn on your notifications) GROW – Invite and bring 10 people each week to Amazing Experiences As I sat down to write this letter to you, the revelation of Pentecost was in my spirit. The fact that Jesus was walking around the earth 40days after His resurrection and ten days after Jesus walked, there were people in the city of Jerusalem prepared to celebrate as normal the Passover Pentecost, but not this year, there were others that had another expectation, in fact 3000+ had another expectation. We can believe for 250 new people to join our church in one day! Lady Ilya and I believe it! And though we have a revelation like we have never had before, it will come to nothing if you don’t believe it too. I believe that if you will join your faith with ours for this special moment, I believe that God can do the unprecedented in your life as well. Amazing Tribe, while we are “together in one accord”, know that everyone matters. In other words, I need you to help someone else make it, believe, and handle these next 21Days!! I pray that during this time that you will rest in the hope of our God, who has our best interest at heart, like for real, rest in the peace of that for your life.
