The Ripe Revival bus will supply a fresh food market with a “pay what you can” approach that will allow shoppers in need to healthy food with dignity. The aim of the mobile market is to supply healthy foods in food deserts (areas with little to no access to nutritious foods). Our Serve Rocky Mount volunteers will be partnering with Ripe Revival to run their mobile market. Additionally, Ripe Revival will have a nutritionist on-site to help shoppers assemble the needed supplies for a meal and then demonstrate how to cook using the ingredients they’ve picked up.
