This Equipping Class begins in June and runs through the end of August. Proverbs 4:23 says "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it". How are you doing with that? Is your walk with God alive and vibrant or has it become stagnant? Do you desire to grow in your love for God and others but feel like something is holding you back? We will be using the book Gospel Treason as a tool to dig into the scriptures and do a thorough examination of our hearts where hidden idols can secretly take up residence, wreaking havoc and robbing God of the worship He alone deserves. We are not talking theory here -- This class will be intensely practical, what the author calls "functional theology". Idol smashing is hard work -- not for the faint of heart, but oh so rewarding!!
