Every person we encountered in 1 Kings, whether king or prophet, whether named or unknown, has underscored our need to hear from & know Christ for ourselves. Through the flaws of the well intentioned like Solomon & Elijah or the blatant wickedness of Jeroboam & Ahab, God’s Word continues to show forth the need for the wisdom of God to be the foundation of our soul.
