This season in our ministry is incredibly special... A defining chapter for our teenagers as they embark on their confirmation journey. It's a significant time where they embrace their spiritual growth and openly share their faith journey with those around them. Confirmation represents a journey of personal exploration. It's an opportunity for our youth to tackle profound and challenging questions: How can I be sure of God's existence? What special role does He have in my life? Why is following Christ's example essential, and what value does a church family add to my personal family? Our students, preparing to declare their faith, find motivation in the deep teachings of The Beatitudes, guiding their steps on this spiritual path. In the next four weeks, they will engage in a journey that weaves together the grand narrative of God with their individual life stories, uncovering the ways God's grace has been active in their lives. This period is one of introspection on their faith, their decision to follow Christ, and their role in the United Methodist Church. We will mark this important milestone with a retreat at Camp Glisson in Dahlonega—a time for connecting, reflecting, and experiencing joy. We invite all our students, from 6th to 12th grade, to this Confirmation journey.
