Community Bible Study

Wednesdays, Aug 30-May 8 | 9:30am | Youth Auditorium

May 8, 2024
9:30 - 11:00am

Starting in the Fall of 2023, we will be studying three Old Testament books in our study called "The Red Sea to the Jordan River". Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers tell the story of how God delivered His chosen people, the Israelites, from Egyptian slavery and established them as a new nation. But these books are not just history. They also tell the story of a holy God’s faithfulness to weak and sinful people like us. Some class members may be surprised by how practical the topics in these Old Testament books really are. Because of biblical themes like doubt and faith, complaining and grace, crisis and intercession, and failure and repentance, the opportunities for spiritual growth offered in this course are plentiful. Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class.
