Military Avenue Church is a mission church of the EPC in downtown Detroit. Faith Women will be providing a luncheon for the ladies of Military Avenue after their church service. Our time together will include singing, food, and a fun craft for the women to do at their table. We will offer baked goods and other gifts for the Military Avenue women to take home. We need a group of Faith Women to attend the Military Avenue Church service and then stay for lunch and fellowship. A $20 ticket will cover the cost for you and one of the Military Avenue women. We will depart Faith Church at 10 AM and return by 4 PM. If you are unable to attend the event, you can still help in the following ways: • A donation of $10 will cover the cost of the luncheon for one Military Avenue woman. • Volunteer to bake and donate quick bread loaves (in foil pans). • Consider donating small toiletries or cosmetic items. A few examples include small shampoos, lotions, Kleenex, nail files, nail polish, etc. These donations will be put together as a special take-home gift for each woman from Military Avenue. Please bring all donations to the Faith Women table by Sunday, May 15. We encourage you to prayerfully consider participating in this special event. Last day to sign-up is Wednesday, May 18.
