The Youth Group at First Presbyterian Church is a rich, faith-based program where teenagers can learn important values, be part of a team, and mature into hardworking citizens of the community. One of the vital ways we work toward this goal is through our annual summer mission trips. The youth spend a week each summer working in a variety of volunteer activities, including soup kitchens, homeless shelters, food banks, housing construction and repairs, etc. This summer, our youth are traveling to Colorado Springs, CO to assist with underserved, at-risk youth and community support and an At-Home mission trip to assist with our local, underserved areas of our own community. In order to participate in this valuable mission work our youth must raise a substantial amount of money to offset the cost of the trip. We hold an annual Youth Auction at our church to raise most of the necessary funds. This year we would ask if you and your company would consider donating a service/product or gift card/certificate for our Youth Auction fundraiser. Any donations will be used only for raising funds for our trips. This could be a great advertising opportunity since auction attendees will see your service/product and business name. If you prefer, an in-kind donation, cash donation, or corporate sponsorship would also be appreciated.
