An eye clinic may be today's most effective evangelism tool for mission trips outside North America. There is a great need for eye care and a great need for the Gospel. This 8-hour seminar will teach you how to conduct a successful eye clinic in a village without electricity. You will also learn how to use the clinic to share the Gospel with all those who attend. An eye clinic may be the most effective evangelism tool for mission trips outside America. There is an incredible need because there is a 100% probability of needing eye care if you live a normal life span. 1. Dr. David Curtis has been on 78 mission trips and treated about 75,000 patients. 2. His 2,000 students have treated more than 2.5 million patients over the past 20 years. 3. He teaches laymen in this 8-hour seminar how to conduct a successful eve clinic in a village without electricity. Fundamentally there are two requirements for a patient to see clearly: 1. Visual system must be healthy. 2. Light coming into the eye must focus on the retina - the inner lining of the back of the eye. Dr. Curtis uses glasses to move the focal point from where it is now to the retina using his invented refraction kit. If light is focused in front of the retina, the focal point is pushed back to the retina. If it is focusing behind the retina, it is pulled to the retina.
