1. Ask God to bring deep conviction of sin, spiritual brokenness, a holy fear of God and genuine repentance within myself. There will be no revival without these elements and only God can produce them.

2. Ask God to purify our "motives” as we pray for revival. We should not pray for revival for selfish or ambitious reasons. Our motives must be solely for: (a) the glory of God, and (b) the increase of the kingdom of God.

3. Pray for God to fill His people (start with this congregation and related ministries) with a passion for the lost to come to Christ. Only God can give a genuine burden for souls. Be sure to pray specifically for many lost people by name

4. Specifically pray for God to pour out His Spirit in this area and this country as he has done in the past. Ask God for a modern day revival. Ask God to let us be a part of what he is doing.

5. Include Daily reading of his word and fasting as you pray for revival.

2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
