Hey Trinity family! We are so excited to announce the opportunity for you to host a BACKYARD outreach this summer!! It’s a VBS-style event going outside the walls of the church building and into your yard (or garage)! We do all the work and YOU take the truth of God’s Word into your neighborhood or community by hosting or co-hosting this event. When: June 22nd-24th June 25th: Special children’s evangelist, Dean Bohl, during Kidzchurch @ Trinity, followed by a celebration party in the Fellowship Hall. YOUR PART: We need you to talk amongst your Trinity friends and decide whether you’d like to host or co-host and complete the sign-up by Friday, June 2nd!! As we said, we will do ALL the work for you...provide you with “Save the Date” postcards and flyers for promo, nightly lessons, snacks, and activities for the event, and even cards to invite kids to come to church on June 25 th for the evangelist and party! We’re excited to go out into the communities with the good news of God’s Protection, Strength, and Truth through this “Keepers of the Kingdom” event for kids!! FAQ: Who is my neighbor?? Good question!! That is any child approximately ages 2-12 who might benefit from participating in your event. What is a HOST? This person or family makes their home available as a host site, chooses the time they’ll host the event on those evenings (Must be at least 90 minutes), invites neighbors to the outreach, and executes or assists in executing everything provided for the outreach. What is a Co-HOST? This person or family partners with the host to prepare for and execute the outreach.
