What is the goal of your faith? It's the salvation of your soul (1 Peter 1:9). The soul is where our emotions are, where our thoughts are lodged, and where we make our decisions. The spirit is what is breathed into us by God, and is made holy when the Holy Spirit comes to live in it. Our spirit's job is to disciple our soul, so that we can be more and more formed into the image of Jesus. This process happens through the implanted Word of God, which speaks to us through the Spirit of Jesus and gives our soul healing and a new way of life!
