Class 3: Biblical Sufficiency and the Medical Model

The Bible is sufficient to give us all we need to know to respond properly to any non-organic challenge or struggle we might encounter. The Medical Model and other kinds of non-biblical counseling tend to view people as patients and do not see the Bible as any help at all with non-organic challenges that are common to man.

People are designed by God to reflect His image, but life is hard. Sometimes we need help seeing how we can reflect God’s image in all situations. By applying biblical truths to our lives by faith, we become more like Christ in our attitudes, thoughts and behaviors, no matter what the situation. That is being a good reflection!
