This will be a Friday and Saturday trip with flexible departure options for Friday. We are partnering with Dr. Jacob Crawford and Gentilly Baptist Church of New Orleans. City Life NOLA is a ministry of Gentilly Baptist Church that is sponsored by the Louisiana Baptist Convention in partnership with Final Command Ministries. What will we be doing? Trash pickup and Prayer Walking, Handing out bottled water and care packages to the homeless, Street Evangelism, Free Face painting, and Balloon animals in City Park. GROUP 1 – Leave Friday the 3rd at 8am from HD Campus. Arrive at the site by 12noon. GROUP 2 – Leave Friday the 3rd at 6pm from HD Campus. Arrive at the site by 9:30pm. Everyone will return together on Saturday, March 4th to the HD Campus that evening. Lodging: Providence House (Hotel type housing located across from the New Orleans Seminary.) 1 King Bed Room – $ 55 2 Twin Single Beds Room - $55 (You can share the cost of a room with a friend.) Cost and Deadline: - Your $20 deposit must be turned in to your church campus office by Sunday, February 26th. - Total cost will depend on your lodging options and dining options. (Some meals could be covered by Philadelphia. Also, depending on participation and supplement, the cost could be significantly less.)
