The 25th chapter of 1 Samuel is a transition chapter. Samuel, the prophet, and servant of God dies, and both David and Israel are confronted with the choice as to how to move forward from this moment. As we stand in a moment of transition from one year to the next, their experience is instructive for us. Let’s learn.
