FBCA Regathering Update

July 3, 2020

Measures for Regathering: On July 26, FBCA will begin offering a 9:00 am and an 11:00 am worship service in the FAC. a. Phase 3 in Virginia is scheduled to begin on July 1st. FBCA has determined it best to allow an additional three-week safety buffer from the start of Phase 3. b. Worship services will be held in-person at 9:00 am and 11:00 am in the FAC. c. The 9:00 am service will be live-streamed and recorded. It will be replayed online at 11:00 am, and available for viewing at any time throughout the day. d. The aim is for all worship services in Phase 3 to be 45 minutes in length. Cleaning will be conducted before, in between, and after services. e. Online registration will be required, and it will include an agreement form asking approximately four COVID-19 related questions, indicating attendee compliance with Phase 3 requirements. f. Restrooms on the first floor will be available before and after the service. g. Instructional signs will be placed at all entrances advising attendees of the protocol. h. Ushers and greeters will assist with entrance, socially distanced seating, and exiting. i. Face masks and social distancing will be required for all indoor gatherings. Attendees will be expected to have their own face coverings (some will be available for emergency use). j. All Phase 3 requirements will be enforced. k. Sunday Bible Study Classes will remain on Zoom or telephone conference. There will be no classes, groups, or childcare in the building on Sunday mornings. Only worship will be held in the building. Protocol for Outdoor Activities—FBCA will recommend the use of facemasks and social distancing at all outdoor activities https://fbcalexandria.org/
