This fall we have the amazing opportunity to work with two different ministries in Johannesburg South Africa. Our team will share time working with a local orphanage called Door of Hope and local missionaries to plant gospel seeds in one of the largest cities in Africa. Johannesburg has a population of over 6 million, many of whom live in desperate poverty. Poverty so stark that families often cannot care for their babies and small children. Door of Hope seeks to address this need by providing a no questions asked policy of taking in abandoned children. While working with local missionaries, we will work to plant gospel seeds among the neediest people in the city and spend time prayer walking their neighborhoods.
