God is not to blame for things going wrong in our lives. He brings good and not harm to us. Jesus is the friend that sticks closer to us than a brother like it says in Proverbs 18:24
"A man who has friends must himself be friendly,
But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother."
Micah 6:8
"He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?"

God is calling all mankind to salvation.

Hebrews 13:8. There is nothing more powerful than a personal testimony. Acts 6:10, 15. Steven became the first martyr as he testified about the power of God. People are not interested in what we have to say, they are interested in what He, Jesus Christ, the Word of God has to say. Colossians 1:27. When they looked at Stephen they they thought that they were looking at an angel, because they could see Christ in him. When Jesus speaks, we need to listen up.
