Each nutrient-rich meal sponsored costs 40 cents and is made up of rice, beans and nutritional supplement and sent all over the world to hungry people in places where people need it most. Three Flower Sponsorship Levels: PANSY LEVEL | $25 A large pansy (sponsoring 42 nutrient-rich meals for the hungry) with a special personalized tag noting the number of meals sponsored and the name of the person being honored or memorialized. $16 is tax deductable. AZALEA LEVEL | $50 A young azalea bush (sponsoring 75 nutrient-rich meals for the hungry) with a special personalized tag noting the number of meals sponsored and the name of the person being honored or memorialized. $30 is tax deductable. GERANIUM LEVEL | $75 A hanging geranium (sponsoring 112 nutrient-rich meals for the hungry) with a personalized tag noting the number of meals sponsored and the name of the person being honored or memorialized. Hanger can be removed. $40 is tax deductible. EASTER SUNDAY AT NALLS PRODUCE Sunday, April 9 | 7am & 9am Worship Services All Easter flowers purchased will be arranged to decorate the altar for Easter Sunday Worship services with the Kingstowne Communion at Nalls Produce. Pick-up your Easter flowers following our 7am or 9am services. Join us for one of two Easter Sunday worship services at Nalls Produce, complete with a live band leading us in song, a children's moment, a compelling message, Easter communion, and an opportunity to cover the cross in buds of beauty! HOPE FOR THE HUNGRY MEAL-PACKAGING EVENT Sunday, April 23 | 10am at Hayfield Secondary School (Door 9) Join the Kingstowne Communion in packing 20,000 nutrient-rich, easily-digestable meals at 40 cents a meal. Collaborate with hundreds of others to measure, pack, weigh, seal, and load 20,000 meals assembled of rice, beans, and nutritional supplement in an effort to combat worldwide hunger through Rise Against Hunger's community meal-packaging initiative. This event great for all ages; there is something for everyone to do. This event will cost $8,000 to host (40 cents per meal). The Kingstowne Communion will donate $2,000 of our 2023 budget, and the rest will be raised through registration and fundraising. Registration is required for this event at $10 per adult, $5 per child, with a $30 family rate for larger families, all of which goes straight toward the cost of packing these nutrient-rich meals for people who need them most.
